Mindful Movement Mondays: Jungle Adventure

Between the pandemic and being on maternity leave, 2020 has felt like I’ve completely been off the grid librarian-wise. And then starting back to work with a new baby and a whole lot of unknowns has definitely been an adjustment. As I get back into the programming groove, I wanted to share a fun series of programs that a coworker and I put together for the summer.

It’s based on the idea of yoga, but we aren’t really doing yoga as most people know it. We called it Mindful Movement, and we talk about things like breathing, being calm, and listening. We incorporate LOTS of movement (hence the name), but most of all we try to have lots of fun.
